Samsung 850 PRO 1TB SSDs are a great fit for our server setup, but sending them directly to our server host would be a bit of a wasted opportunity… So I got Samsung to send them to our office, and I had some fun with 4TB of high performance SSD storage…

I am using a Samsung 850 Pro 1TB 2.5" SSD. Using it stock i get about 550mb read and 500mb writes. How come nobody does video reviews on the Samsung Magician Software with Rapid Mode enabled? With Rapid Mode enabled I get the following benchmarks in numerous benchmarking tests across the board.
This is CrystalDiskMark for instance, but ATTO and Samsung Magician all show the same results with Rapid Mode enabled and my games and apps show mind blowing improvements.

I would like to see if NVME Samsung drives are allowed to use Rapid Mode as I have a 2.5" SSD but don't want to go to NVME if I would be punished by slower speeds by giving up Rapid Mode.
Yo i had the same ram
how come he gets so many subs…
You know, right now they’re dirt cheap on amazon
Pro, the only drive to buy, it rocks!
Funny intro & good presentation. I recently installed this PRO model on a laptop. Well worth it.

They got cheaper by the type. My 840 is made out of metal. It also included screws and a sticker.
My 860 Evo is made out of plastic without anything but some booklet and the box.
